Hello, my name is Emily Cater.

I’m a twenty-something ex WGSN Travel Editor and freelance writer with a huge love of travel and culture. In my job at WGSN I was lucky enough to travel all over Europe pretty extensively, writing and researching for city guides, but now it’s time to see the rest of the world.

Commencing January 2018, I am embarking on a few months solo travel, with plans to visit Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Bali/Indonesia, the Philippines, and Australia.

Expect to find here tales of my adventures in these incredible places, the people I meet along the way, the food, the culture...and undoubtedly a few tips on what not to do!
